American Sailing (ASA) certification is widely respected worldwide and is your passport for yacht charters and the sailing lifestyle. Learn to sail and navigate the seas from experienced USCG licensed and professional ASA certified sailing instructors who are friendly and passionate about what they do. Sail Hawaii is committed to providing sailing and navigation instruction according to ASA standards while ensuring your safety, confidence and having a lot of fun at the same time.
Sail Hawaii is the only sailing school in the state of Hawaii that offers the full range of American Sailing (ASA) courses from ASA 101 Basic Keelboat (beginner) through ASA instructor level courses. Sail Hawaii conducts courses with classroom instruction on land and with practical sea time aboard one of our classic style training vessels or with modern sailing vessels in our sailing community. Sail Hawaii's courses are regularly scheduled and in order to ensure the best experience are semi- private (two to four students per class). We welcome individuals or small private groups to sign up for any of our regularly scheduled courses.
