Sail Hawaii International, L.L.C's mission is to promote the sport of recreational sailing in Hawaii and encourage safe boating practices through education. We intend to make the sport of sailing accessible to everyone by striving to keep costs down and charging the lowest possible course fees. Course fees (minus ASA materials, certification and business expenses) goes to compensate the ASA certified instructor(s) who are also the legal owners of all boats and are solely responsible for upkeep and safe operation of the boats that are used for practice. Neither Sail Hawaii International, L.L.C. nor Waikiki Yacht Brokerage, L.L.C. (DBA Ala Wai Yachts) own, nor operate any boats for commercial use in waters in the State of Hawaii. Registration and payment for a sailing course with Sail Hawaii International, L.L.C. is solely for classroom-based instruction. After classroom-based instruction, participants are invited to practice what they have learned, as the instructor's personal guest aboard his/her own private boat.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
To reserve your place in class, please register and make payment through the links on our website or by calling or visiting our office. Since we must have a minimum of two participants for the class, in the event that you must cancel, your course fee is 100% refundable up to 24 hours before the course commences and up to the time of the start of the course if an alternate can take your place. If you must cancel less than 24 hours prior to the course commencement and an alternate can not be found to take your place, your course fee is 50% refundable. Mahalo for your understanding. If the class must be canceled by the instructor for any reason, then your course fee is 100% refundable.
